Psalm 129
1 Many times since days of youth,
May Israel truly say,
1 Many times since days of youth,
May Israel truly say,
1 How blest the man who fears the Lord,
Who walks by His unerring word;
1 Vainly through the night the ranger
Keeps his watch lest foes alarm;
1 When God reveal’d His gracious name
And changed my mournful state,
1 Who in the Lord confide,
And feel His sprinkled blood,
1 Unshaken as the sacred hill,
And firm as mountains be,
1 Had not the Lord, my soul may cry,
Had not the Lord been on my side;
1 Unto Thee I lift my eyes,
Thou that dwellest in the skies;
1 Pray that Jerusalem may have
Peace and felicity:
1 How did my heart rejoice to hear
My friends devoutly say,
